We're not sure yet if RIM is flogging a dead horse but we just heard that the company would be bringing out a LTE edition of its PlayBook.
Probably to be cautious, RIM will not be launching this speedier PlayBook to the rest of the world - yet. RIM is starting with its home ground, Canada, with carriers Rogers, Telus, and Bell starting on 9 August, after which America and Europe will get their turns.
Presumably the design would still be the same as the ill-fated WiFi-only version, but it will have a faster 1.5GHz processor, a 7-inch 1024 x 600 display, 5 and 3 MP cameras, 32 GB memory and microSD slot.
